UPDATE: Missing Burnaby teen located “safe and sound” according to RCMP

Burnaby RCMP provided an update on Friday afternoon.

UPDATE Friday, June 10: Burnaby RCMP said teen has been found safe and sound.

Burnaby RCMP is asking for the public’s assistance in locating a 13-year-old girl who has been reported missing.

She is described as 5’9″ tall, with a heavy build, medium skin tone, dark curly hair (usually worn in a bun), and large fake eye lashes.

She was last seen wearing a light grey hoodie, dark blue jeans, black high-top converse shoes.

Police are asking anyone who may have seen Ayan or have information on his whereabouts to call the Burnaby RCMP at 604-646-9999. It they wish to remain anonymous, they can call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS).
