Good news for donut fans! Burnaby’s Twins Donuts is making their official comeback. You’re now able to order donuts for their first day open on June 11.

Twins Donuts’ most famous donut is their Leche Flan variety, which is a donut served with a circle of flan on top. Not only does it look yummy, but it is delicious.

You can order 8 different donut varieties: Lemon Curd, Bailey’s Cream, Nutella Cream Cheese, Avocado Krema, Coconut Latik/Caramel, Strawberry Cheesecake, Ube Coconut, and of course, their Leche Flan.

Owner Leslie Grana immigrated to Canada from the Philippines and she eventually decided to live in Burnaby. Twins Donuts is a relatively new business that opened at the start of 2022, but Grana always knew she wanted to open a donut shop.

In a previous interview with the Beacon, Grana said after she met her wife, “the first thing I said to her a couple of months that we’d be dating, I said that ‘You know what, one day if we get there … I want to open a donut shop here in Vancouver [area].’”

Twins Donuts had to close back in March and fans were not sure when they would be returning. But they took to Instagram on June 2 to announce their return.
