Announcing the first ever Burnaby Beacon Readers' Choice Awards

We’re unveiling our first-ever Burnaby Beacon Readers’ Choice Awards, presented by Explore Burnaby.

You—our readers—have the opportunity to nominate and vote for your favourite restaurants in Burnaby, which we will compile into our inaugural Readers’ Choice Awards list for you to use as a foodie guide to your city.

We love highlighting Burnaby’s food scene and we want to give our readers the opportunity to have their local go-to eateries recognized on a bigger scale.

Today, we’ll be opening our voting, which closes on April 2.

To vote for your favourite restaurants, click here. To vote, you’ll need to be a Burnaby Beacon subscriber. You can sign up here for free.

You’ll see the voting broken down into three main sections: Food, Drinks, and Desserts. When you click on one category, you’ll see a more detailed list where you will be able to vote for everything from your favourite sushi spot to pasta place.

We’ll compile the results and the list of winners will be announced in April.

Remember, you have the power to choose which Burnaby eateries get picked for the list. So if you’re loving your neighbourhood bakery or you’ve got a go-to spot for Indian food, this is your chance to recognize the restaurants you love!
