Burnaby Blooms will take place next month, with a kickoff celebration on May 13 and 14 from 11am to 4pm at Shadbolt Centre for the Arts at Deer Lake.
The event will feature eco-art installations, artist talks, walking tours, gardening workshops and plant sales, food trucks, live music, a kids’ stage, family-friendly entertainment, and the launch of the Burnaby Farmers Market.
There will also be displays of art displays made of flowers, plants, and natural materials.
Then, on May 27, a micro-event will be held at Burnaby Mountain Conservation Area, where attendees can participate in family-friendly activities and demonstrations.
