There will be two more events to engage with Burnaby council and school board candidates
Burnaby residents will have two more opportunities to engage with city council and school board candidates ahead of the Oct. 15 municipal election.
The first event, organized by the Heights Neighbourhood Association, will take place on Tuesday, Oct. 11 from 7 to 9pm at Gilmore Elementary School. The event will allow attendees to engage with and ask questions to candidates from all parties running for council and school board.

The second event is scheduled for Thursday, Oct. 13 from 3:30 to 6:30pm and will be hosted by the Simon Fraser Student Society (SFSS).
According to the event description, council candidates “will talk about key issues affecting students and the community at large, including but not limited to housing affordability, equity and diversity, transportation, Indigenous reconciliation, climate justice, city restructuring, and waste management.”
There will also be a chance for students and community members ask questions during a Q&A period.
