Celebrate Canada Day with Burnaby Village Museum

Burnaby Village Museum is hosting a day of fun-filled events to celebrate Canada Day.

The event will include live performances, demonstrations, activities for all ages, face painting, games, and cupcakes.

• Carousel Pavilion (carousel rides)

• Children’s activities (including face painting)

• Pacific Spirit Quilters’ Guild

• City of Burnaby Water Wagon (mobile water refill station)

• City of Burnaby Solid Waste and Recycling Program

• Burnaby’s elected MLAs & MPs information booth

Live performances and demonstrations

• 11:05am - Land acknowledgement and performance by the Coastal Wolf Pack - Vorce Stage

• 11:25am - Chinese fan and ribbon dance performance by Jessica Yue - Orchard Stage

• Noon - Journey into Rhythm with Robin Layne - Vorce Stage

• 12:15pm - Rene Hugo y sus Amigos - Orchard Stage

• 1:20pm - Chinese drumming performance by Tian-Jin Formation Drums - Orchard Stage

• 2pm - Official remarks - Vorce Stage

• Following formal ceremony - Mohammed Assani - Vorce Stage

• 2:30pm - Serving of Canada Day cupcakes - Real Estate Exhibit

• 3pm - South Asian dance performance by Sudnya Dance Academy - Orchard Stage

• 3:50pm - Middle Eastern dance performance by Academy of Middle Eastern Dance - Vorce Stage
