New year, new you! If your New Years’ resolution is to explore your own city more and have fun while doing it, you’ve come to the right place. There’s a whole lot of events happening in Burnaby this January—here are just a few of them!

This exhibition at the Burnaby Art Gallery by contemporary artists Hana Amani and Audie Murray “explores the generative aspects of dreaming” through a variety of different mediums, taking you through all the possibilities of what we can imagine. You can view Dream Marrow at the gallery until Jan. 22. Admission is by donation ($5 recommended).

Welcome to a new year! Get back into your groove with this dance party at World Dance Co. on Jan. 6. Find your beat with salsa, bachata, a little bit of merengue, cumbia and more!
