If you’re a fan of Olivo Cafe’s delicious Mexican eats, you’re in luck because it’s expanding with the addition of a new food truck.
The cafe announced that the new venture on wheels, called Tacosaurus, is set to launch this week.
The concept will serve up to-go eats inspired by Olivo Cafe’s favourites, like tacos (carnitas or birria), the Dino Bowl (served with carnitas or birria on top of a hash, topped with coleslaw, fresh pico de gallo, jalapeno, sour cream, chipotle mayo, and feta cheese), and loaded nachos.
For drinks and desserts, folks can choose from churros, agua de jamaica (hibiscus iced tea), or jarritos.
Tacosauras will be making its first stop at Studio Brewing on Friday, March 3 (and will also be there on Friday, March 10 and 24). The truck will be at Steamworks Taproom in Burnaby (3845 William St.) on Tuesdays, Saturdays, and Sundays starting March 7.
