Single V Coffee returns: Popular Burnaby cafe back at new location
South Burnaby is about to get a new coffee shop.
Signage for Single V Coffee has been installed at 5000 Kingsway Plaza, in the former location of Jaruse Hair Salon.
Single V formerly had a location at 5232 Irmin St., but that shop shuttered due to a lease situation.
Now, the popular spot is back and Jason Chen, the owner of Single V, told the Beacon renovations are underway and city permits are getting sorted, so it may be a few months until the new cafe is ready to open to the public.
They plan on featuring a specialty coffee menu that includes espressos, flat whites, lattes and they will also have a pour-over bar. All of the coffee served will be single origin, noted Chen.
For food, Chen says that because they are focused on the renovation, a menu hasn’t been confirmed just yet, but for now they’re thinking of offering croissants, brownie cookies, and possibly croissant waffles.
We’ll keep you updated about when Single V officially opens its doors once again in Burnaby!
