While we’ve had a few brief days of sunshine this week, there’s lots of rain in the forecast coming up. But never fear: there are lots of indoor events happening around Burnaby this week to keep the rainy day blues away! And the best news of all is that Valentine’s Day is this coming week, and we’re ready to celebrate love—or the lack thereof—in full force.
Romance on ice! The City of Burnaby is hosting a Valentine Toonie Skate at Kensington Complex this weekend. Admission and rentals are just $2!

Shadbolt Centre for the Arts

Intrigued by the title? You should be. The Circus of Broken Hearts bills itself as an “unconventional Valentine’s Day cabaret show” with circus, dance, burlesque, and magic. Performance company Wild Rumpus Cabaret says there will be roving performers and go-go dancers to start off the night, followed by a stage show including contortionists and juggling.
