Thurs. Oct. 12: Where is Burnaby's best sandwich?

Hello there, Burnaby!

I can’t remember the first time I’d heard of Phyllis Webstad, but I certainly remember the story of her and her orange shirt. It’s one of those journeys that will always stick with you wherever you go—and it’s a reminder of some of the brutal histories attached to this land.

At minimum, I hope that she will serve as a reminder that we still have tons of work to do when it comes to truth and reconciliation. There are many options for us to partake in, whether it’s learning about and/or revisiting the 94 calls to action, understanding Burnaby’s role, or even getting to know Webstad’s story and why it continues to resonate with so many in this country and beyond.
