Burnaby Blues and Roots Festival returns with FREE admission this summer
Festival organizers say this year’s full lineup will be announced this spring, along with other details.

One of Burnaby’s most popular summer events is back!
The Burnaby Blues + Roots Festival returns to Deer Lake on Aug. 12, and admission is free.
“The Burnaby Blues + Roots Festival is one of the most exciting events that we host in Burnaby,” said Mayor Mike Hurley in a release.
“By removing ticket fees we’re ensuring that everyone in our community will have the chance to come down to Deer Lake Park and enjoy a fantastic day of music with friends and family.”
The legendary festival has had legendary artists take to its stage over the years,including Robert Clay, Colin James, Smokey Robinson, k.d lang, Feist, and The War on Drugs.
Festival organizers say this year’s full lineup will be announced this spring, along with other details.
This year’s event will also feature family-friendly activities, like the family zone, food trucks, and more.
