Head to Deer Lake Park’s fishing dock on June 30 from 12:30 to 1:30pm to watch The Wilson Gibbons Duo perform as part of the city’s Sound Like Summer festival. The performance is free!

The evening event on July 1 will stretch across Civic Square, Central Blvd, and Central Park and will include food trucks, family-friendly activities, a beer garden, and live music performances from Juno award winner k-os, Bif Naked, and Alex Cuba followed by a fireworks finale at 10pm.

There will also be free festivities taking place at the Burnaby Village Museum on July 1 from 11am to 4:30pm. Head down for multicultural family entertainment, displays and demonstrations, children’s games and activities, and cupcakes.

A third Canada Day event is taking place at Edmonds Park on July 1 from 11am to 2:30pm. Head down to celebrate diverse communities, participate in crafts and activities, games, and a youth volleyball tournament.
