Burnaby’s election results are out

Here’s how the different parties fared in Burnaby’s five ridings

Incumbent BC NDP’s Anne Kang was reelected for another term with a majority of 9,413 votes, representing 56.93%.

Conservative Party’s Dharam Kajal received 7,121 votes, or 43.07% of votes.

Reah Arora of the BC NDP was elected with a majority of 10,060 votes, representing 51.48% of the total votes for the riding.

Simon Chandler of the BC Conservative Party received 7,991 votes, or 40.89% of total votes for Burnaby East.

Tara Shushtarian of the BC Green Party received 1,490 votes, or 7.62% of votes for the riding.

Incumbent Raj Chouhan of the BC NDP was reelected for another term with 10,260 votes, or 59.77% of votes for the riding.

Deepak Suri of the BC Conservative Party received 5,985 votes, or 34.86% of overall votes for the riding.

Daniel Kofi Ampong, independent, received 922 votes, or 5.37% of votes.

Incumbent Janet Routledge of the BC NDP was reelected for another term, with a majority of 10,359 votes, 52.98% of the votes for the riding.

Michael Wu of the BC Conservative Party received 8,459 or 43.26% of the total votes for Burnaby North.

Independent candidate Martin Kendell received 736 votes, or 3.76% of votes.

The NDP’s Paul Choi was elected for this riding, with a total of 7,295 votes, or 49.23% of votes.

Han Lee of the BC Conservative Party received a total of 6,189 or 41.76% of the total votes for the riding.

Carrie McLaren of the BC Green Party received 920 votes, or 6.21% of the total votes.

Independent candidate MichaelAngelo Abc RobinHood received a total of 140 votes or 0.94% of the total votes.
