4 Burnaby restaurants to try right now
In the spirit of celebrating Burnaby’s fabulous food scene, here are some local picks (that we still think have merit as the top spots in the country) worth checking out for your next meal.

Burnaby’s foodie scene often goes overlooked, and unfortunately, that’s what happened with Canada’s Top 100 Places to Eat in 2023, published by Yelp.
The national ranking, compiled by the crowd-sourced review company, was revealed on January 25 and is based on its user community’s reviews of spots across Canada.
Sadly, no Burnaby eateries made the list this year—but in 2022, four local spots in the city made the cut.
So, in the spirit of celebrating Burnaby’s fabulous food scene, here are some local picks (that we still think have merit as the top spots in the country) worth checking out for your next meal.
Sidenote: if you are looking for a nearby eatery that did make the 2023 list, check out New Wesminster’s BANH Mi BAR at 722 Carnarvon St., which placed 17th.
