Performances, fireworks finale planned for Canada Day in Burnaby

We’re heading into the Canada Day long weekend, and if you’re still figuring out what to get up to, we’ve got you covered.

The City of Burnaby is hosting three Canada Day events, which feature family-friendly activities, performances, and even a fireworks finale!

Check out Burnaby’s Canada Day lineup below.

The evening event on July 1 will stretch across Civic Square, Central Blvd, and Central Park, and will include food trucks, family-friendly activities, a beer garden, and live music performances from Juno award winner k-os, Bif Naked, and Alex Cuba followed by a fireworks finale at 10pm.

There will also be free festivities taking place at the Burnaby Village Museum on July 1 from 11am to 4:30pm. Head down for multicultural family entertainment, displays and demonstrations, children’s games and activities, and cupcakes.

A third Canada Day event is taking place at Edmonds Park on July 1 from 11am to 2:30pm. Head down to celebrate diverse communities, participate in crafts and activities, games, and a youth volleyball tournament.
