The University Highlands Green Team. 📸 Brianna Reeve
The University Highlands Green Team won big on May 18 in the first-ever Climate Project Challenge, hosted by SFU, the Burnaby Youth Sustainability Network, and the Burnaby School District.
The team is one of four Burnaby schools that won $1,000 grants for their sustainability proposals to help improve their schools and communities.

Burnaby RCMP is investigating a targeted shooting that occurred last Friday, which sent one victim to the hospital with non-life-threatening gunshot wounds. The incident occurred inside a vehicle at Halifax Street and Woodway Place.
