We've got more details on the new La Forêt Burnaby location

We’re counting down the days until La Forêt’s new Burnaby location opens, and we’ve got some more details about the popular bakery and cafe’s second outpost.

In its initial post announcing its expansion, La Forêt noted that the new location would be located close to Royal Oak SkyTrain station.

While the La Forêt team doesn't want to give up its exact location, staff told the Beacon that it would be mere minutes away from the station.

And due to the close proximity to transit, La Forêt noted this location will be a grab-and-go concept, with a focus on pastries.

The bakery and cafe aims to open in early March with a soft opening at least one week before.

La Forêt announced its expansion on Jan. 16.

It first opened at the corner of Imperial Street and Jubilee Avenue in 2017 and quickly became a bustling spot to stop for coffee, baked goods, breakfast, and brunch.
