A free Burnaby block party with live music, food trucks and a beer garden kicks off this weekend
The Brentwood Block Party is back just in time for some summertime fun.
This year’s festivities will take place over three weekends: July 16 and 17, August 6 and 7, and August 26 and 27.
Each weekend has a different theme to keep things interesting.
July 16 and 17 is the official Community Block Party kickoff and will focus on fun family activities. Folks can expect various games, face painting, Disney princesses and more.
August 6 and 7 will go to the dogs. The Pet Block Party will be a dog and pet-focused event with pet vendors, a dog wash, and even pet portraits.
Then, on August 26 and 27, it’ll be an adults’ night/day out! There will be beer and wine on deck, as well as corn toss, art, and musical performances.
Each weekend will feature a huge lineup of food trucks, including Mo Bacon, Munchu Picchu, Mahahiko, The Mad Greek, and Crema Ice Cream. There will also be plenty of local vendors, live music and entertainment, art, and a beer garden.
Each weekend event is located at 2150 Alpha Ave. The events are free to attend and pet-friendly!
