Burnaby food alert: New bubble tea flagship store and Korean restaurant to open soon
Burnaby is buzzin’ with new restaurants, and we’ve got two more spots to put on your radar.
First off, there’s some big news for bubble tea fans because Chicha San Chen is opening their first Canadian flagship store in Burnaby this month. This Taiwanese chain is passionate about all things tea. On their website, they say their flavourful teas are made in an “exclusive teapresso machine which is customized for each tea.”
Some of Chicha San Chen’s notable bubble tea flavours include Milk Tea with Taro Ball and Paste, as well as their Tea Latte with Taro Ball.
Chicha San Chen is located at 101-4501 Kingsway and is celebrating its soft opening on March 16, 17, and 18. Its grand opening is on March 20.
Next up, Chibop Bella, a new Korean eatery, is opening up at 3-1805 Rosser Ave in the Brentwood area.
The owners of Chibop tell us they will specialize in various Bibimbap dishes, Bulgogi, Japchae, Soontufu, jeyuk-bokkeum-spicy pork, and Jjambbong-Korean spicy seafood noodle soup. Korean fried chicken (KFC) will also be on the menu and you can expect flavours like soy-garlic and cheese.
Chibop has officially soft-opened to the public (as of Sept. 15, 2022).
