Good news, Burnaby coffee lovers: a favourite local spot has revealed when it will finally open the doors to its second location.
La Forêt Bakery and Cafe announced on Instagram that its new Burnaby coffee shop, located at 6958 Palm Ave., will open on April 3, 2023.
The new shop is conveniently located just a three-minute walk away from Royal Oak SkyTrain Station, making it the perfect spot to grab a coffee and pastry on the go.
It’s also located just minutes away from its original outpost at 6848 Jubilee Ave.
La Forêt said the new location will serve as its headquarters and main production facility, and will also be used to start its wholesale and catering services.
It also has a “cozy cafe” area for patrons to enjoy new menu items including Korean-style sandwiches, pastries, and desserts.
The new cafe is intended to be grab-and-go concept, focusing on takeout and delivery. La Forêt says some temporary patio seating may be made available in the summertime.
“We have been growing because of all the precious time you spent with your loved ones at La Forêt,” said the cafe on Instagram.
“From the bottom of our hearts, we deeply thank you.”
The new location will be open Monday to Saturday from 8 am to 6pm.
