What’s on the menu: New Burnaby restaurants on our radar in September
New Burnaby restaurants keep popping up, and we’re here to keep you updated. From pizza to Korean fried chicken, here are some newly opened and soon-to-open restaurants and cafes in the city worth checking out this September.
What looks to be a huge new Popeyes location will be opening up very soon at Metropolis at Metrotown. This popular fast-food joint is a go-to for its famous fried chicken sandwich and sides. This will be the second Popeyes location to open in Burnaby after the one located at 7855 Kingsway.Address: Ground level across ICBC Driver Licensing Office in Metropolis at Metrotown.
Chibop Bella, a new Korean eatery, is opening in the Brentwood area. The owners of Chibop tell us it will specialize in various Bibimbap dishes, Bulgogi, Japchae, Soontufu, jeyuk-bokkeum-spicy pork, and Jjambbong-Korean spicy seafood noodle soup. Korean fried chicken (KFC) will also be on the menu and you can expect flavours like soy-garlic and cheese. ChiBop is slated to open this month.Address: 3-1805 Rosser Ave.
