Here are the best places to eat that aren’t the Lougheed Mall food court
How many times have you been to Lougheed Mall for shopping and ended up eating in the food court because it was the most convenient option? Well, what if we were to tell you that if you were to walk just a couple of minutes outside of the mall you could visit some delicious restaurants. Here’s our list of the best places to eat around Lougheed Mall that aren’t the food court.
This soup-less ramen is one of our favourite places to eat around Lougheed Mall. They have 11 different ingredients you can get on your mazesoba, like cubed pork chashu and raw egg yolk all on top of chewy multigrain noodles. But if you’re more of a fan of traditional ramen they serve that too.

This is one of our favourite sushi spots to visit. Sushi California has a large selection of unique specialty rolls at affordable prices. We would recommend you try the Salmon Mountain Roll which is incredible. They also have other classic Japanese options like udon and donburi.

We know what you’re thinking: not another sushi option on this list. Well, lucky for you because Green Leaf Cafe does so much more than just sushi. When you visit you need to order the Tornado Omelette Rice. They also do pasta dishes like their Kimchi + Cheese Linguine which is linguine with pan-fried Kimchi, bacon, and mozzarella, all served in a hot stone bowl.

No, your eyes did not deceive you. That is a sushi burger. Pho Japolo & Japolo Sushi serve some incredible and unique foods like their sushi pizza and sushi burgers. The “buns” of the sushi burger are made from deep-fried sushi rice and the inside contains Lettuce, imitation crab meat, tobiko, mayonnaise, BBQ sauce, and your choice of smoked salmon, salmon, tuna, unagi (eel), sockeye salmon, or real crab. If sushi is not your thing, then you can order one of their many delicious phos instead.

If you’re looking for Korean fried chicken, look no further than Ajuker. Not only do they have many different flavours of chicken, like their snowflake chicken or chicken in Yangnyeom sauce, but they also serve other Korean foods like seafood pancakes, spicy rice cakes, and corn cheese. This restaurant is worth visiting even if you’re not planning on going to Lougheed Mall.

If you’re looking for some delicious dim sum then you’ve come to the right place. Yan’s Garden has a huge selection of dim sum for you to enjoy. Plus they do take-out which is perfect if you just want to head right home after a long day of shopping at Lougheed Mall.
