Here are the best places to cool down in Burnaby
Summer is here and everyone is looking for ways to beat the heat. Luckily, Burnaby has plenty of great waterparks and pools to take the family on that next sunny day. So whether you’re wanting to get in the water or tan by the pool, here are the best pools in Burnaby.
Located in Robert Burnaby Park is this fantastic outdoor pool. It has six lanes, a diving board, a wading pool, and change rooms! Lap swimming is from 12–1pm, public swim is from 1–5pm, and Loonie Swim is from 6–7:30pm.

Confederation Park has a 400-square-foot spray park for the kids to run around and play in. All spray parks in Burnaby are operational from 9am to 9pm with push buttons.

If you want to escape the sun for a little bit then you can head over to the indoor Eileen Dailly Leisure Pool. It has a beach-entry leisure pool, a deep tank main pool, and even a waterslide. The pool is currently closed for maintenance until July 24 but will reopen on the 25th.

Just like the Robert Burnaby Pool, the Central Park OUtdoor Pool also has six lanes, a diving board, and change rooms. There are also lockers available to keep your stuff. Public swim is also from 1–5pm and lap swim is from 11:30am to 1pm.

Located in Lewarne Park (formerly MacPherson Park), this pool is a favourite in South Burnaby. Just like all the other pools on this list, it has six lanes, a diving board, change rooms, and a wading pool. Lap swim is from Noon–1 pm, public swim is from 1–5pm, and Loonie swim is from 6–7:30pm.
