Burnaby Readers’ Choice Awards: Best pasta winners
We’re continuing with our Beacon’s Readers’ Choice Award category winners
Alright, Burnaby. We’ve announced the top restaurants from our 2023 Beacon’s Readers’ Choice Awards, presented by Tourism Burnaby. Now it’s time to highlight some more winners by category.
We’re breaking down the top three restaurant winners in each of the 32 categories included in this year’s awards, as voted by you.
Here are the winners of the best pasta in Burnaby.
First place: Anton’s Pasta Bar
Famous for the generous portion sizes and retro aesthetic, we can’t think of a better place to get pasta than Anton’s Pasta Bar. You can find every style imaginable: baked, stuffed, risotto, red sauce, white sauce, and seafood, as well as a long list of appetizers and salads.
Address: 4260 Hastings St., Burnaby
Second place: Trattoria
Trattoria’s modern, dimly-lit interior makes for an ideal date or classy night out, not to mention their open concept kitchen which allows you to see all the food prep in action. Their in-house pastas are to die for—notable favourites include the spaghetti and meatballs with herbed ricotta and crispy mushroom gnocchi.
Address: 4501 Kingsway #102, Burnaby
Third place: Cotto Enoteca Pizzeria
Cotto Enoteca Pizzeria has unfortunately closed since we released this list. But it offered a rustic Italian experience, specializing in Neapolitan pizzas and irresistible homemade pastas served in a bright, exposed brick dining room, and was definitely a local favourite.
Address: 6011 Hastings St., Burnaby
