Club Salmon: Burnaby's new sushi bar and Japanese bistro is now open
Club Salmon Bistro, located at 4394 Imperial St., opened its doors last November and is quickly becoming a local favourite for sushi and salmon-focused entrees.
Burnaby's newest spot for sushi and Japanese cuisine has recently opened its doors.
Club Salmon Bistro, located at 4394 Imperial St., opened its doors at the tail end of November 2022, and it is quickly becoming a local favourite for sushi rolls, donburi, sashimi, and salmon-focused entrees.
As the restaurant's name suggests, salmon is the true star of the show and is the featured ingredient in a number of dishes.
If you want to start with light tapas, there's the smoked salmon wrapped yam tartare (made with mashed yam and sweet potatoes served with smoked Sockeye salmon and garlic chip on top) or salmon tataki (lightly seared salmon served on a bed of mixed greens and ponzu dressing).
The a la carte selection includes the salmon teriyaki (pan-fried salmon and mixed vegetables in teriyaki sauce), the salmon steak (pan-friend salmon steak with tartare sauce topped with orange, basil paste, almond, garlic chips, and baby fill), or the salmon steak spaghetti (spaghetti in rose sauce topped with a salmon steak).
And for sushi and sashimi lovers, there are plenty of options to choose from.
If you're not feeling salmon, don't fret! Club Salmon also serves up a wide range of other seafood and vegetarian options.
