Bright nights: Where to see some of the best holiday lights in Burnaby
‘Tis the season for twinkling holiday lights. If you’re looking to add some brightness to the season, you’ll be pleased to know there are many light displays to check out around Burnaby, and we’ve included several in the list below.
The City of Burnaby has also put out a more detailed map, which you can check out here.

The Hasting Street trees
Find over 200 trees glowing trees along Hastings Street between Boundary and Gamma shining bright with over 10,000 lights.
Along Kingsway
If you’re driving along the western entrance into Burnaby along Kingsway, you’ll be able to spot these giant glowing trees and overpass shining bright with beautiful holiday lights.
Willingdon Linear Park
The trees at Willingdon Linear Park are sparkling with beautiful icicle lights. The park is located on Willingdon Ave between The Amazing Brentwood and Hastings.Address: 1420 Willingdon St
Central Park
You’ll be able to find lit-up trees at Central Park as well as some very festive eco-sculptures.
Deer Lake

It’s a winter wonderland up at Burnaby Mountain Park. Put on your warmest gear and enjoy a holiday stroll along a path lit up with glowing trees.Address: 100 Centennial Way

Edmonds Community Centre and Park
If you’re looking for a massive Christmas tree then head down to Edmonds Park. Bring the family, some hot chocolate, and be dazzled by these beautiful lights.Address: 7433 Edmonds St
The Burnaby Village Museum will be transformed into a festive winter wonderland with the return of Heritage Christmas, presented by Concord Pacific. The event will run until January 3. Gate admission is free and no reservations are required.Address: 6501 Deer Lake Ave
