This new Burnaby cafe serves the best egg sandwiches
Something Sweet Burnaby offers one of the best breakfast sandwiches in town. This new cafe serves all kinds of delicious sandwiches, croffles, bingsoo, and more!
When we visited, we ordered the shrimp egg sandwich along with the iced tiramisu latte. The sandwich came with scrambled eggs in between slices of toasted brioche bread and two types of melted cheese. It was all topped with Hollandaise sauce and three shrimp. The eggs were perfectly fluffy and the shrimp was a great addition to the sandwich.
The iced tiramisu latte was delicious as well with layered chocolate sauce, tiramisu foam, and a cookie on top. You’re able to customize the sweetness and how much ice you want in the drink. We ordered the full sweetness which, despite how the drink looks, wasn’t overly sweet.
Something Sweet Burnaby also serves a coconut latte that arrives with the cutest icy teddy bear in the drink. It’s almost too cute to drink!
If you want something that is both Instagram-worthy and refreshing, you can order the Watermelon Smoothie Party, which comes in an actual whole watermelon! This is definitely a drink for sharing with your friends on a hot summer day, and there are still plenty more of those coming.
With the fall semester starting, students will be happy to hear Something Sweet Burnaby is a great spot to study. There are plenty of seats and free WiFi. You can convince yourself you’re being productive while enjoying an amazing egg sandwich.
