Burnaby Readers’ Choice Awards: Best fine dining winners

We previously announced the top restaurants from our 2023 Beacon’s Readers’ Choice Awards, presented by Tourism Burnaby. Now it’s time to highlight some more winners by category.

We’re breaking down the top three restaurant winners in each of the 32 categories included in this year’s awards, as voted by you.

Here are the winners of the best fine dining restaurants in Burnaby.

First place: Hart House Restaurant

Hosting dinner in a 19th century tudor-style mansion, Hart House Restaurant is the perfect spot for fine dining and special occasion dinners. The surroundings are beautiful (both inside and outside, as their patio overlooks the rolling green fields of Deer Lake park) not to mention their menu—items like preserved lemon risotto and seared duck breast are sure to steal your heart.

Second place: The Keg Steakhouse + Bar

Nobody does casual fine dining quite like the Keg, a famous chain known for their delicious steak and seafood dinners. Their Burnaby menu is currently featuring a snow crab and sirloin surf ‘n’ turf platter, crab cakes and refreshing cocktails like their mai tai and “black and blue” margarita made with blue curacao and black lava salt.

Third place: Atlas Steak + Fish

Presenting a “flirtatious and modern twist” on the iconic North American steakhouse, Atlas Steak + Fish specializes in top-grade steak and seafood dishes served in a warm, elegant dining room (complete with live piano performances every night!) Some notable menu items include the atlas seafood tower, truffle tenderloin and whole roasted sea bass.
